Paradiso, Hell — the second step of the La Divina Commedia Tour 2024—was now on the way by Tedua. Following the tour in the Inferno arena, the visit was centered around Paradiso. Carefully drawn by gifted Eleonora Peronetti in close collaboration with our studio, the set was designed for touring the heavenly realms using a visual and audio journey that staged Dante’s vision of Paradise. The concept revolved around a live scenic staircase installation that, in a way, represented a journey to heaven. Its central visual focus was such a kind of stairs as it led the audience right through Tedua’s celestial display. The La Divina Commedia Tour was a visual uncanny feeling brought about by the fusion of the physical stage design with gauzy special effects. Scenic stairs juxtaposed with fire and clouds set a depth and mystique into the performance. The special effects added to the celestial theme. The lighting design for Paradiso section was highly immersive, as well as upbeat. It surrounded scenic stairs and special effects into a heavenly glow, which provided the stage an ethereal light.
