At Milan Fashion Week in September 2024, Max Mara presented a Spring/Summer 2025 collection inspired by mathematics and the timeless intellect of Hypatia of Alexandria. Held in a venue illuminated with a uniform, all-encompassing white light, our lighting design transformed the space into a pristine, almost laboratory-like environment that highlighted the geometric precision and structure of each garment.
This all-white lighting scheme set a neutral stage that allowed the collection’s architectural silhouettes to stand out. From sharply defined shoulders and origami-inspired pleats to precisely tailored cuts.
