ELODIESHOW 2025
After the stadium dates, Elodie brought the show into arenas and indoor venues. The move did not reduce the experience. It reframed it. The stage architecture and the performance grammar that had filled large open spaces were reconsidered for a smaller volume, with lines and pacing adapted to the sightlines of parterre and lower tiers. The result was not a smaller show. It was a more concentrated one, where proximity increases clarity and detail and where light and movement gain precision. The creative direction was led by the LACCIO team, who also shaped the video content so that the narrative of images and performance moved as a single system. The production was promoted and produced by the team at Vivo. The production team was Lemonandpepper.
Blearred handled the lighting design for this tour. The central challenge was the density of choreography. Dancers and performers were present throughout, and the show advanced through sequences that required a lighting language aligned with timing and direction rather than spectacle for its own sake. We treated light as a tool to mark rhythm, open depth when the music turned inward, and flatten perspective when the impact needed to be immediate. In the indoor context these mechanics became easier to read. Shorter distances improved contrast, cues landed with greater definition, and small changes of intensity could carry narrative weight without calling attention to themselves.
The show also carried a public message that was widely shared in social communication. MEGA means Make Equality Great Again. We approached it as a sign within the scene, not as a slogan layered on top. The lighting choices aimed to make space for every body on stage, to avoid hierarchies of visibility, and to let color fields meet rather than separate. Inclusion was treated as a practical criterion. If a moment made someone less visible than others, we corrected it. If a transition could welcome the audience into the frame, we opened it.
The work was the result of a coordinated process across tour and studio. Project management and lighting design were led by Francesco Mingoia, who guided the creative intent through rehearsals and the nightly pace of the show. On the road, the lighting was programmed and operated by Matteo De Salvia, translating cue structure into reliable execution for each venue. In the studio, three dimensional design and presentation were developed by Matteo Masini, providing a clear visualization of how the system would inhabit indoor spaces. The three dimensional modeling that underpinned this phase was crafted by Marzio Del Sole, while the CAD drawings were produced by Olek Mar’Yanov together with Francesco Rizzotto to ensure technical consistency. Logistics for our side of the project were coordinated by Elisa Fiumanò, aligning people, files, and schedules with the needs of rehearsal and production. Overall supervision and technical management for Blearred were handled by Ivan Russo, who kept design intent and feasibility in balance as the show transitioned from plan to stage.
