22 SIMBACLUB TOUR 2026
For 22SIMBA’s live show at Fabrique Milano, Blearred developed an immersive stage environment where scenography and lighting became part of the same physical language.
The project moved away from the idea of a traditional concert stage and instead focused on building a space that could feel instinctive, raw and real both for the audience and for the artist moving inside it.
The entire stage was covered by a raised sculptural floor inspired by natural terrain. Grass, mud and exposed tree roots spread across the performance area, surrounding instruments and extending through every visible surface of the stage. The intention was not simply visual. The environment was designed to be experienced physically. Walking across the stage reproduced the unstable sensation of stepping on wet earth and uneven ground, creating a direct connection between movement, performance and space.
Lighting was fully integrated inside the scenographic surface. Fixtures were concealed beneath textures and hidden between the roots and terrain in order to remove the perception of visible technical sources. Light appeared organically from inside the stage itself, generating an atmosphere that constantly shifted between intimacy and tension.
The visual language relied on shadows, low angle beams and soft reflections interacting with the irregular geometry of the floor. Rather than dominating the scene, lighting became part of the environment, almost breathing with it.
The project was developed under the creative direction of Jordan Babev, acting as Head of Design and Project Manager, alongside Roberto Andreotti as Head Lighting Designer. The lighting direction and live operation were handled by Lorenzo Sarti, whose programming work translated the visual narrative into a dynamic live experience throughout the show.
The environmental realism of the stage was supported by an extensive development process involving digital visualization and scenic construction. Matteo Masini developed the project renderings, while Marzio Del Sole focused on the three dimensional modelling that defined the structure and textures of the environment.
The scenic department was led by Eleonora Peronetti as Head of Scenic Design, working together with Cecilia Magnozzi as Set and Scenic Designer Assistant and Giada Travella as Junior Set Designer Assistant. Their work shaped the tactile identity of the stage and its relationship with the performance space.
Production and coordination were supervised internally by Ivan Russo, managing logistics and project development, together with Elisa Fiumano as Project Coordinator, ensuring continuity between creative vision, technical execution and production workflow.
